Acting classes for teenagers, once a week, over 8 weeks, where young artists will learn acting basic skills. Acting is proven to increase confidence,
memory abilities, social awareness and communication skills. All staff have working with children’s checks. Classes will result in a showcase to be presented to family, friends and industry professionals at the end of the term.
ABOUT THE CLASSES
Classes will focus on theatre games and improv and the end of term showcase will reflect their experience gained throughout the creative process. The rehearsals and showcase preparation will be held during the last 3 weeks before the presentation. Students will have the opportunity to develop their vocal and physical expression skills, their verbal communication and creative thinking abilities and empathy and social awareness attitude all through a dynamic and fun way of learning drama. ALL class Mentors have their current working with children’s check and police check.
Teens 13-17 years: 2 contact hours per week @ 4pm-6pm on Fridays
Classes kick off for the current intake on Friday 13th of October 2017 and goes for 8 consecutive weeks.
