About the Class:
Improvisation participants will be able to experiment the basic principles of the acting structure (where/place, what/ action and who/character) through a spontaneous creative and intuitive process that will include music, images, objects, dramatic and non dramatic texts, verbal and non verbal communication. The classes will focus on developing both body and vocal expression as well as character preparation by using a great variety of improvisational approaches and theatre games based on Manoela’ personal experience as a coach but also following the work of some authors such as Viola Spolin, Stanislaviski and Ingrid Dormien Koudela. The class can lead to an experimental performance at the end of the process.
Message from the Teacher: “Acting is a physical process. Through physical action and body expression we can open our minds and get in touch with our emotions and intuition.”
